Workshop scope:
Allow a critical mass of researchers to sit together in view of generating new ideas about improving HTS modelling and finding solutions to current problems and challenges.
Improve the networking and exchanges between the researchers, otherwise quite dispersed worldwide, and often duplicating the same work.
Exchange experiences and ideas about the several modelling alternatives tested in the community from the point of view of the improvement of the numerical solvers or focusing in new alternatives.
Exchange experiences in specific problems related with the design of devices or applications based on HTS materials in the sense of the development of tools adequate for HTS engineering including Multi-physics.
Model the behaviour of the HTS devices in its operational environment
The contributions will be in two formats:
Short talks of 20 min max
Specific discussions: a very short (2-3min) oral presentation and a poster for discussion during the poster session
Tentative general topics to be dealt in the workshop are:
